A device for inspecting damage to a mold pin is provided to measure the depth of a hole in a die-casted product and determine the damage based on the measured depth and to measure the hole depth accurately, regardless of the position change and the inside slope of the hole. A device for inspecting damage to a mold pin comprises an actuating cylinder(10) mounted downward on the leading end of a robot arm, a pin member(30) connected to an actuating rod(15) of the actuating cylinder, a sensing unit(50) detecting the insertion depth of the pin member corresponding to the depth of a hole(3) and outputting the sensing signal to a controller(90), and an elastic bias unit(70) which is mounted on the leading end of the actuating rod of the actuating cylinder to support the pin member. The pin member is installed to ascend and descend to the hole by the reciprocating action of the actuating rod. The elastic bias unit elastically biases the pin member according to the position change and the inside slope of the hole.
