PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample collection member, a sample taking-out member, and a sample collection kit equipped therewith, enabling a collector to collect simply and evenly a sample, especially the surface of feces, and to also collect simply not only the surface but also internal feces, and to use it for inspection. SOLUTION: The sample collection member 1"' has a sample collection part 11"' for collecting the sample E. The sample collection part 11"' has a configuration with at least one planar sidewall part, and has a sample holding groove 11a"' having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and forming a thin-walled plate-shaped space, whose longitudinal direction is vertical to the depth direction, and a corner part 11b"' capable of scraping the sample along an opening of the sample holding groove 11a"'. The sample taking-out member 2"" has a rod-shaped sample extraction part 21"" having an insertable diameter size, while slide-contacting with the sample holding groove 11a"' of the sample collection member 1"'.
