摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface structure of a sliding member capable of maintaining wear resistance by improving adhesion force of a rigid carbon film layer to an aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: The surface structure is provided with a nickel-phosphorus layer 2 formed on the surface of the aluminum alloy 1, a chromium layer 3 formed on the surface of the nickel-phosphorus layer 2, and a rigid carbon film layer 4 formed on the surface of the chromium layer 3, and therefore, the adhesion force of the rigid carbon film layer 4 to the aluminum alloy 1 which is a relatively soft member can be improved and the wear resistance of the sliding member can be maintained.
