DELETION MUTANT OF STOMATIN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a stomatin crystal and to clarify the three-dimensional structure of stomatin in order to elucidate the control function of important function molecule of perception sensor, ion channel etc. of stomatin molecule. SOLUTION: The deletion mutant composed of a soluble central core domain of stomatin is obtained while retaining the homotrimer structure of the stomatin, the mutant crystal is prepared and subjected to X-ray diffraction to obtain the three-dimensional structure of stomatin from atomic coordinates.
