BRAKE FOR SLIDING DOOR

A brake (1) for a sliding door, the brake (1) being mounted on the sliding door (3) installed in an openable and closable manner on a frame (2) and braking closing movement of the sliding door (3). The brake (1) has an oil damper (10) which operates as door wheels (5) rotate when the slide door (3) becomes closed and applies braking force to the door wheels (5). The door wheels (5) are mounted to the frame (2) and roll on a rail (4) as the sliding door (3) becomes opened and closed.
