摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic energy measurement apparatus and a measurement method for accurately measuring the direction and the magnitude of a flow of acoustic energy contained in a sound wave at an arbitrary location even if there are arbitrary sound field conditions that a plurality of sound sources for generating the sound waves at the same frequency exist, and a reflection sound correlated with the sound source exists. SOLUTION: The acoustic energy measurement apparatus and the measurement method detect a spatial differential of a particle displacement vector i.e. a direction change rate of a particle displacement distribution in a medium such as air for propagating the sound wave as a distortion in the medium, and accurately detect the direction and the magnitude of the flow of acoustic energy based on a particle velocity vector and a stress tensor obtained by multiplying a distortion tensor by a volume elasticity of the medium.
