<p>A weld stud 10 comprises a weld flange 11 adapted to be welded to a workpiece and a potion 13 integrally formed with the weld flange 11. The flange 11 has a surface to be welded. The surface includes a flattened annular portion 14 of a predetermined radial width at an outer periphery thereof and a conical recess 15 conically formed from the annular potion 14 to the center thereof, so that only the annular potion 14 is welded to the workpiece.</p> |
