A system (30) to manage steam generating equipment and systems, program product (71), and associated methods are provided. The system (30) can include a steam generating system including a boiler (31), sensors and/or monitors (37) to sense or monitor various steam generating system related parameters, and one or more data collector (39)s accessible to a communication network (41) to collect and disseminate the data from the sensors and monitors (37). The system (30) also includes a corrosion and scaling management server (43) accessible to the communication network (41) and positioned to receive and process the collected data. A database (49) accessible to the server (43) is also provided. The database (49) can include database records related to the steam generating system. A plurality of stationary user computers (51) and mobile user terminals (61) also accessible to the communication network (41) can send steam generation system data to and received data from the server (43). Corrosion and scaling management program product (71) stored in memory (45) of the server (43) is also provided to determine and predict corrosion and scaling in the boiler (31) of the steam generating system.
