A ball seat manufacturing method is provided to enhance the performance of ball joint and to thereby improve the riding comfort and steering capacity of the vehicle. A ball seat manufacturing method comprises a step of densely forming concave shapes irregularly carved by corrosion resulting from the reaction with chemical solution on a mold core, and a step of molding an inner ball surface(21) of a ball seat(20) by using the mold core. The mold core shaping step includes a step of covering a masking tape on the part except the processed part of the mold core, a step of covering a film reacting to ultraviolet ray or laser on the processed part of the mold core and irradiating ultraviolet ray or laser, and a step of reacting the ultraviolet ray/laser irradiated portion of the processed part with chemical solution. |
