PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that new image data cannot be recorded when a possible recording capacity runs short and a subject that it is difficult to arrange important image data in a storage medium with ease, resulting from an upper limit of the recording possible capacity of the storage medium, in an image processing apparatus. SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus, an importance is set to image data. The set importance is converted to the maximum number of times of transmission. When the number of times of transmission of the image data reaches the maximum number of times of transmission, arrangement operation is carried out to arrange the storage medium.
