The fuse (1) has electrical contact points (1.1) connected with each other by a fuse element that is made of fuse material e.g. zinc. The contact points are made of a contact material e.g. alloy of copper, nickel and silicon. The contact points are fixed at the fuse element in force and form-fit manner and/or positive substance jointing manner. The contact points are connected with the fuse element by welding, crimping, clinching, injecting and/or soldering. The contact points are designed as corresponding supporting unit (3) to fork contacts, cross contacts and/or lamella contacts.
