METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ALIGNING HEAD OF CHOPSTICK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for aligning heads of chopsticks, capable of efficiently and securely aligning chopsticks of which orientation is irregular in a uniform orientation by an inexpensive device. SOLUTION: Chopsticks having one ends in the length direction as head parts for gripping parts and the other ends as nipping parts and having the gravity center shifted from a substantial central point in the length direction to the head part side are aligned. The substantial central points of the chopsticks carried to form a line in the horizontal direction are supported by a linear sorting part (25) formed by folding a plate member (15) in a mountain shape and having a narrow support area. By using dropping of the chopsticks supported by the linear sorting part (25) from the head parts due to the gravity, the chopsticks are aligned with the heads facing downward.
