PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of bar code quality by estimating a change of code printing quality caused by a change with time of an ink, and carrying out bar code correction. SOLUTION: An ink parameter expressing the ink change with time is detected by an ink parameter acquiring part 222 when a bar code is recorded by using an inkjet recorder. Then, a change rate of a dot diameter of an ink droplet recorded on a recording medium is estimated on the basis of a degree of the obtained change with time of the ink. Whether or not the correction of widths of bars and spaces which constitute the bar code is necessary is determined on the basis of the estimated change rate of the dot diameter. When it is determined that correction is necessary, automatic correction is carried out, or a correction value is indicated to make a user carry out manual correction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
