PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder capable of replacing quickly and easily a tool while maintaining high swing precision and high balance precision, when carrying out replacement work for the tool. SOLUTION: This tool holder 1 attached detachably with a head 3 in a tip side of an adaptor 2 fixed onto a machine tool 50 is provided with a flange part 5 abutting closely on a spindle end face 52 of the machine tool 50, and a gravity center regulating screw hole 6 inserted with a screw formed in the flange part 5 and for regulating the center of gravity, and the head 3 is provided with a tapered protrusion part 15 engaged with a taper hole 4b of the adaptor 2, and a collar part 16 abutting closely on the flange part 5.
