<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous resin having portions different in average cell diameter. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid raw material D is injected into a cavity 4 of a mold 1. The liquid raw material D is a polymer dope preferably containing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin, a water-soluble polymer compound and an oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic solvent containing oxygen atoms or nitrogen atoms in the molecule. The oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic solvent in the liquid raw material D is extracted by a hydrophilic organic catalyst, while low temperature water is passed through a core 3, to solidify the liquid raw material D. After the liquid raw material D is released from the mold, the solidified material is brought into contact with water to extract the water-soluble polymer compound, the hydrophilic organic catalyst and a residual oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic solvent to obtain a cylindrical porous resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
