PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure additional fail safe performance with a minimum structure in a bi-wire system. SOLUTION: In the electronic control device for supplying power to a sensor for detecting operation of a driver of a vehicle, when a sensor signal corresponding to the operation is inputted from the sensor, a control signal is outputted to an actuator of the vehicle in response to the sensor signal, and when abnormality occurs in the sensor signal, supply of power to the sensor is started by another electronic control device for supplying power to another device mounted on the vehicle other than the sensor. The sensor can recover output of the sensor signal, and even without being equipped with backup power or a backup electronic control device, fail safe performance can be secured as a bi-wire system.
