PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate net torque favorable to controlling a transmission. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S104) of setting a time constant T to be used for the moderating control of the actual torque (illustrated) of an engine to be a greater time constant T(1) when a variation A of an ignition timing is greater (YES in S104), a step (S110) of calculating an output value TS with the moderating control of the actual torque (illustrated) of the engine, a step (S114) of giving subtracting processing to the output value TS depending on the number of cylinders during fuel cut when during fuel cut (YES in S112), a step (S118) of subtracting friction torque, pumping loss, accessory load torque and idling torque shift learned values from the output value TS to calculate the actual net torque of the engine, and a step (S124) of correcting the actual net torque of the engine to be higher depending on the temperature of lubricating oil.
