The invention provides an information processing system, an identification information method and a program thereof. According to the invention, even if other ID than ID of a reading object article is simultaneously and falsely read because of multiple paths, and the ID of a reading object article can be correctly read from the read IDs. Therefore a read/write device continuously receives ID from an IC label through read interval, and stores received ID, continuously receives signal strength for each ID receiving test and stores tested receiving signal strength relatively with the ID, and the ID and receiving signal strength are informed to a control PC (3). In the control PC (3), after ID with receiving signal strength insufficient to prescribed power level is removed from an analysis object, regression analysis of receiving signal strength of remained ID is executed, and ID whose regression line slope coefficient absolute value of the result of the regression analysis is minimal is estimated as ID transmitted from the IC label of the reading object article. |
