Preparing a powder of superabsorbent polymer (SAP) particles having core-shell structure made of water-soluble unsaturated ethylene monomers comprising a carboxylic group and their alkaline salts, comprises post-cross linking step by cross-linking system comprising a non-substituted bisoxazoline on oxazoline rings and an alkaline and alkaline- earth metal catalyst. Preparing a powder of superabsorbent polymer (SAP) particles having core-shell structure made of water-soluble unsaturated ethylene monomers comprising carboxylic group and their alkaline salts, comprises post-cross linking step by cross-linking system comprising a non-substituted bisoxazoline on oxazoline rings and an alkaline and alkaline earth metal catalyst of formula (M(X) n).
