PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separator preventing solid materials from sticking and water from leaking. SOLUTION: The solid-liquid separator is provided with a cylindrical strainer 6 formed by stacking a plurality of circular ring bodies 7 at intervals, a rotational and driving means 5 rotationally driving the strainer 6, a container 4 rotatably housing the strainer 6, a scraper 12 of which the top end penetrates into each gap between the ring bodies 7, a solid-liquid inflow opening 1 located outside the strainer 6 and opened inside the container 4, a liquid discharge opening 2 faced to the inside of the strainer 6 and opened in the container 4, and a solid material discharge passage 3 formed at a portion of the container on the upstream side in a rotational direction of the strainer 6 to the scraper 12. The length of the solid material discharge passage 3 is set at the value of a solid material discharged after the solid materials scraped off by the scraper 12 are pressed successively.
