Support for flood defence wall

The support (5) has a central part (10) and a separately formed reinforcement part (20), where longitudinal axes of the parts are oriented parallel to each other. The parts are formed as extruded hollow profiles. The central part forms an U-shaped bar retainer (12) and the reinforcement part engages with the central part in a form-fitted manner such that load is transferred from a set of fluid-loaded damping bars (30) to the central part and to the reinforcement part. Length of the central part is larger than that of the reinforcement part.
