ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE, MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY, FUEL CELL, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane and its manufacturing method endowed with low methanol permeability as well as excellent proton conductivity, and a membrane electrode assembly using the electrolyte membrane as well as a fuel cell using the membrane electrode assembly.

SOLUTION: The electrolyte membrane contains a porous base material (A) with an inner communication structure, a proton-dissociative polymer (B) and a non-proton-dissociative polymer (C) with a cross-linking structure contained inside the porous base material (A), and, after filling polymerizing monomers (b) forming the (B) in the (A), monomers (c) forming the (C) are filled and polymerized, in the manufacturing method of the electrolyte membrane.
