PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio operation system that enables second apparatus to operate a plurality of states of first apparatus with good operability. SOLUTION: The radio operation system 30 includes a mobile phone 10 having first and second states where first and second functions are executed and portable electronic apparatus 20 to operate the mobile phone 10 through radio communication, wherein the mobile phone 10 has a first transmission section 12a transmitting a first or second state signal indicative of the first or second state to the apparatus 20, a first reception section 12b receiving a first operation signal for operating the first state transmitted from the apparatus 20 and a second operation signal, different from the first operation signal, for operating the second state, and the apparatus 20 has, an operation section 23, a second transmission section 22a transmitting the first or second operation signal to the mobile phone 10, a second reception section 22b receiving the first or second state signal that the mobile phone 10 transmits, and a control section 21 performing control to transmit the first or second operation signal from the second transmission section 22a on the basis of input operation to the operation section 23 when the reception section receives the first or second state signal.
