This invention discloses a method, apparatus, and system implementing the VPN configuration service. In said invention, the network receives VPN configuration request information, verifies said request information by means of the directory service list, and if successfully verified, updates said directory service list, and completes said VPN configuration. VPN policy and member information is configured through directory server and directory service list, thus, in the case of VPN's dynamic change, such operations as addition, deletion of VPN members, and dynamic change of VPN policy can be finished fast by inquiry of the directory service list, improving VPN service's efficiencies. Through the VPN policy information setting, users' VPN connection request is limited in a closed user group with corresponding control, thereby achieving flexible management. |
