<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption cylinder capable of preventing dew condensation on the surface without installing an insulating material. <P>SOLUTION: In an adsorption cylinder 1 to be installed in an adsorption type dehumidifier dehumidifying compressed air, an insert cartridge 2 filled with an adsorbent 9 is installed in a removable way. The adsorption cylinder 1 has a space 15 having such a clearance between the inside wall of the adsorption cylinder 1 and the outside wall of the insert cartridge 2 as not to allow practical contact of the walls.
