<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a very little air from being incorporated into a storage container due to the fact that foreign matter such as dust and paper powder in air enters into an air release path and adheres to the adhesion surfaces of a valve disc and a valve seat by an air release operation, so that airtightness is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid container includes an air release mechanism 132 opening and closing an air release hole 131 for releasing the air in a container main body 101. In the air release mechanism 132, a packing member 154, a spherical member 156 which is arranged to come into contact with and separate from the packing member 154 and is movable from the outside and a movable member for releasing the air 158 which is arranged on an air side from the spherical member 156 and moves the spherical member 156 are attached into a cylindrical air release cap 155, so as to be moved forward and backward.
