摘要 <p>During # slot 7, in a base station apparatus (A), there occurs a downlink data to be directed to a mobile station apparatus (B), and there is assigned an uplink resource for transmitting information of the number of transport signal sequences and information of reception quality. For the downlink data, it is transmitted via a similar procedure to that during # slot 4 (105). For the information of the number of transport signal sequences, a number of transport signal sequences, for which the best characteristic can be obtained, is calculated via a similar procedure to that during # slot 2. At this moment, in the mobile station apparatus (B), if it is determined that a number of transport signal sequences, two, is the best, then information indicative of the number of transport signal sequences, two, is transmitted to the base station apparatus (A). In addition, information of reception quality corresponding to a number of transport signal sequences, one, employed during this slot is also transmitted to the base station apparatus (A) (106). The base station apparatus (A), when having received this feedback information, employs the number of transport signal sequences, two. At this moment, the base station apparatus (A) takes into account information of network traffics and the like, and if accepting this, the base station apparatus (A) receives, during # slot 10, the feedback information of the number of transport signal sequences, two, employed during # slot 7, so that a procedure of changing from the number of transport signal sequences, one, to the number of transport signal sequences, two, is performed between the base station apparatus (A) and the mobile station apparatus (B) by use of MAC signaling. At this moment, for the number of transport signal sequences, two, MIMO SDM is applied, there is assigned an uplink resource for use in transmitting information of transport signal pre-processing and information of reception quality corresponding to the number of transport signal sequences, two, and this assignment information is also transmitted to the mobile station apparatus (B) (107). In this way, in a series of procedures where the number of transport signal sequences employed in communication between a mobile station apparatus and a base station apparatus is changed, the overheads of various sorts of feedback information can be reduced.</p>
