<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device for preventing display inferiority and quality deterioration, and to provide an electronic device with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-optical device includes: a pair of substrates; an electro-optical material layer arranged between the pair of the substrates; a color filter layer 32 provided between the electro-optical material layer and one substrate of the pair of the substrates; a barrier layer 26 provided between the other substrate and the color filter layer 32; a resin layer 28 for keeping a regular interval between the barrier layer 26 and the color filter layer 32 by being provided between the barrier layer 26 and the color filter layer 32; a seal material 24 provided so as to surround the circumference of the electro-optical material layer on the side of the electro-optical material layer of the resin layer 28; and a gas barrier layer 30 for leastwise covering a face arranged in the outside of a region surrounded by the seal material 24 of the resin layer 28 by covering the end face of the resin layer 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
