<p>A door panel, despite its light weight, has sufficient strength. The door panel (20) has an outer plate (21), an inner plate (23), and a foamed material (24) placed in a space (22) between the plates. The inner plate (23) is press-formed in a projection-depression pattern. A joint section (27) of the inner plate (23) is joined to the inner surface of the outer plate (21) to form the space (22) between a projection (29) and the outer plate (21). The outer plate (21) has a thickness 1.2 - 5.0 times the thickness of the inner plate (23). The peripheral edges of the outer plate (21) are folded back and crushed so as to wrap around the peripheral edges of the inner plate (23), and this forms a hemmed section (33).</p> |
