FUEL PRODUCTION METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel production method and a device, requiring no preliminary test for determining hydrothermal reaction conditions and capable of dealing with the change of properties of the organic sludge added to the hydrothermal treatment. SOLUTION: A fuel production device 10 comprises: a hydrothermal reaction device 12 modifying the organic sludge to be a slurry by the hydrothermal reaction; a dehydrator 16 dehydrating the slurry obtained by the hydrothermal reaction; a dryer 18 drying the solid obtained by the dehydration; a viscometer 46 measuring the viscosity of the slurry obtained in the hydrothermal reaction device 12; and a control device 44 controlling the hydrothermal reaction based on the measured value of the viscosity.
