PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool collecting dust with a high workability, which is improved in dust collection efficiency by devising a structure inside a dust-collecting adapter for the dust collection to smoothly collect the dust. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by the power tool characterized as follows. The power tool has an end tool, a dust-collecting adapter having a through hole passed by the end tool and used for collecting powder dust caused by machining a grinding material by rotation of the end tool, and a dust suction part serving as a part of the dust-collecting adapter and used for collecting the powder dust inside the adapter. The dust-collecting adapter has an end tool cover having an approximately circular outer peripheral wall and covering at least a part of the outer periphery of the tip tool and a connection for connecting the end tool cover with the dust suction part, and is equipped with a communication hole communicating with the atmosphere on a side face of the approximately circular outer peripheral wall.
