<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To request borrowing on the basis of determined time order by auto matically determining a library, which enables fastest lending, when a plurality of lending candidate libraries are present in a mutual lending/borrowing system. SOLUTION: In response to a borrowing request from a borrowing request library client 21, first of all, a center server 10 retrieves the library, which has the material of the borrowing request. From a total index database 12 and designates the lending candidate library. While referring to a circulation vehicle schedule database 14, the time order capable of lending the material of the borrowing request from the library provided by the retrieval is determined. Afterwards, the lending candidate library and the order of dates capable of lending the desired material from each lending candidate library are reported to the borrowing request library client.</p> |
