摘要 A servo frame interval correcting apparatus, a storage device, and a servo frame interval correcting method are provided to improve the performance of magnetic disc drive by obtaining the servo frame position with respect to the storage medium displaced from the center of rotation. A servo frame interval correcting apparatus comprises a detection unit detecting a first servo frame from a storage medium in which a plurality of servo frames are arranged, an extraction unit acquiring the detection time interval between the first servo frame and a second servo frame detected after the first servo frame from a table holding a detection time interval between the servo frames, a differential output unit calculating the differential between the detection time interval obtained in the extraction unit and the reference time interval, and a correction unit which performs correction about the estimated position of the second servo frame to detect next, based on the differential calculated in the differential output unit.
