The system (16) has a cover plate (22) articulated around a fixed axis (A) connected to a cab interior part i.e. fascia, of a motor vehicle to swing the plate between opening and closing positions of a housing (18). A fixation unit comprises a mobile adjustable stand (28), a guide rail (34) and a fixed upper stopper canopy (26) and fixes an electronic case i.e. parallelepiped movable global positioning system (20), on an interior surface (24) of the plate. The fixation unit is adjustable in a manner to be adapted to dimensions of the case.
