A digital broadcasting system and a data processing method thereof are provided to receive and process a Non-IP signaling type or an IP-based signaling type table information, for example STT(Service Time Table), CIT(Cell Information Table), RRT information, and then set up the current local time and date by especially processing the STT. A baseband processor(100) receives a broadcast signal including mobile service data and main service data. The mobile service data comprises an RS frame. A management processor(200) parses signaling information data from the RS frame to obtain the rank information of the mobile service data, and then compares the rank information with the viewing-limitation rank information set by a user to determine whether to limit the viewing of the mobile service data. A presentation processor(300) blocks the mobile service data if the limitation of the mobile service data is determined.
