A method and an apparatus for indicating 3D image on a portion of screen by using the barrier pattern are provided to display the three dimensional image and two dimensional image at the same time. A display unit displays an input screen for creating the size of three dimensional image. A liquid crystal unit(210) is arranged in a liquid cell in a form of a matrix. The liquid crystal unit is that the barrier pattern the liquid crystal cell column is operated to horizontal or vertical direction in a display control mode corresponding to the input information of the input screen. A liquid driving units operate the liquid crystal cell column of the liquid crystal display. The barrier pattern formed in the liquid crystal display is visualized. A control unit(240) indicates the input screen on the display unit. The control unit determines the input information of the input screen.
