摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a liquid crystal display device having a protrusion for liquid crystal alignment control having excellent electric characteristics and light-shielding properties without spoiling patterning characteristics and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The protrusion 27 for alignment control is a cured product of a photosensitive resin composition containing an organic pigment and a lower part of the protrusion for alignment control has a relational form to follow a recessed part 28 on the lower side thereof. The organic pigment content is 5 to 70 wt.% to the cured product of the photosensitive resin composition. The cured product of the photosensitive resin composition has dielectric tangent of &le;0.015 in a driving frequency range. The cured product of the photosensitive resin composition has optical density per &mu;m film thickness of &ge;0.2.
