The present invention relates to a process for producing porous ceramics comprising the process steps: providing a composition (1) which comprises at least one ceramic base material (3) and combustible fibres (2) and/or particles, wherein the fibres (2) and/or particles can be or are electrically and/or magnetically polarized; orientation of the fibres (2) and/or particles in the composition (1) by applying an electric and/or magnetic field; and sintering the composition (1) which comprises the oriented fibres (2) and/or particles at a temperature at which the ceramic base material (3) is solidified and the fibres (2) and/or particles are burnt, and also ceramics produced by this process and use thereof. |
