<p>In order to make a compact mechanism for preventing an end lock which can yet effectively prevent an end lock due to an engaging claw of a vehicle sensor, as a seat belt is withdrawn, an eccentric gear (14) of an ELR-ALR switching mechanism (25) eccentrically rotates at a reduced speed in the belt winding direction. During this, a third lever operation cam (18) disposed on the eccentric gear (14) rotates together with the eccentric gear (14). When an end lock preventive arm (43) of an end lock preventive lever (38) is set at an end lock prevention cancelling position shown by a solid line, the third lever operation cam (18) comes in contact with the unlocking lever (41) and presses the unlocking lever (41) when the seat belt (4) is fully or nearly fully wound. Accordingly, the end lock preventive lever (38) pivotally moves so that the end lock preventive arm (43) is set at an end lock preventing position shown by a two-dot chain line, thereby preventing an end lock due to a vehicle sensor (27).</p> |
