A patch antenna is provided to satisfy a resonant frequency and radiation gain without increase of the size of the antenna by changing the structure and the form of the bottom patch structure of the antenna. A patch antenna includes a top patch(210), a bottom patch(220), a first insulating layer(230), and a second insulating layer(240). The bottom patch is divided into a plurality of path groups. The each patch group is divided into a plurality of piece with a plurality of slots(222). The fist insulating layer is formed at the top patch and bottom patch, and the second insulating layer lower part of the bottom patch. The top patch and bottom patch is connected electrically through a hole(232). The hole is penetrated through the edge of the first insulating layer, and a metal pin is inserted into a hole. The thickness of the fist insulating layer is higher than that of the second insulating layer.
