摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense a specimen such as protein, nucleic acid, carbohydrate, fat and steroid. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic devices comprised of nanowires are described, along with methods of their manufacture and use. The nanowires can be nanotubes and nanowires. A surface of the nanowire is selectively functionalized. A nanodetector device is described.
