PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature compensation piezoelectric oscillator having an inhibit function of stopping only an amplifying circuit without increasing the number of electrode terminals for external connection provided in the temperature compensation piezoelectric oscillator even if the temperature compensation piezoelectric oscillator mounted with a piezoelectric vibration element is further reduced in size. SOLUTION: An integrated circuit element includes an oscillation circuit, the amplifying circuit, a first switch disposed between connections of a second inverter of the amplifying circuit and a supply voltage terminal, a second switch disposed between connections between the first switch, a function terminal and a cathode of a varactor diode, a memory for storing temperature compensation control data and switching control data, a temperature compensation signal control circuit which performs temperature compensation based upon the temperature compensation control data in the memory, and a switching signal control circuit for generating a switching signal for switching the second switch based on the switching control data in the memory.
