An audio data reproducing device and method are provided to allow the user to remix the currently reproduced audio file into desired format through the decoder and mixer. An audio data reproducing device comprises a memory unit(103) storing one or more sound effect files and one or more audio files, an audio decoder(104) which mixes the inputted audio files and outputs it, a sound effect decoder(105) which mixes the inputted sound effect files and outputs it, a mixer unit(106) which mixes the decoded sound effect signal and outputs it, and a control unit(100) which controls the mixer unit to mix the decoded audio signal and the decoded sound effect signal and output it when the request of mixing specific sound effect file with the currently reproduced audio.
