<p>A counterweight (1) has weights (2) that are connected to a frame (3). A pair of temporary tightening units (8) e.g. sling is fitted and tightened around the weights. A pair of actual tightening units (10) e.g. steel belt is fitted and tightened around the weights after removal of the slings. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for preventing disturbing noise caused by counterweight of elevator.</p> |
