The invention relates to a method for regulating the current supply of a coil (3) of a reluctance motor (M) and an electric circuit arrangement (S) for supplying a coil of a reluctance motor (M) with current and for discharging the current from said coil (3). The aim of the invention is to provide a method and a circuit arrangement of this type, said arrangement having a simple construction and enabling the maximum possible power conversion. To achieve this, according to the method, current is supplied to the coil based on the progression of the discharge of current from the same coil (3), if a predefined limit value that characterises the discharge of current is not attained. In the circuit arrangement, the current that is discharged from the coil is compared with a predefined limit value by means of a comparator (K) and if the limit value is not attained a signal is emitted indicating the end of the discharge. |
