BROADCAST SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING LOCALCASTING SERVICE BASED IP TUNNELING AND METHOD FOR EXCUTING THE SYSTEM

A broadcast system for providing a local casting service based on ip tunneling and a method for executing the system are provided to discriminate plural data services regardless of the type of a DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) system by using an IP address to a narrowband DMB data channel. A data packet receiving unit(201) assigns an IP address and IP data service information for data service to a DMB data server. For example, an IP address is transmitted to plural users or providers by being assigned in type of a multicast, unicast or anycast address according to the purpose that a user consumes an IP data service. The IP address is assigned to the DMB data sever by considering one among IP version, a type of IP address, IP subnet, transport protocol type and port number. A data packet receiver receives plural IP data packets from the DMB data sever by corresponding to the IP address and the IP data service information, and an IP data transmitter(202) generates an IP data service guide for a watcher to select or use an IP data service by corresponding to an IP data packet.
