<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which prevents current harmonics from increasing due to increase in input to a fan motor under high input state where a compressor motor is operating, and also prevents unnecessary conduction of the compressor motor instantaneously after stoppage even if the fan motor is in operating state. <P>SOLUTION: Power supply of a second inverter circuit 15 which has: an opening/closing means 2; a first two contact switching means 17; and a second two contact switching means 18, and drives a fan motor 16 depending on the open/close state of the opening/closing means 2, is switched by any one of first smoothing means 6 or a second smoothing means 7, and the opening/closing means 2 is then brought into open state instantaneously after stoppage of a compressor motor 14. Unnecessary conduction of the compressor motor 14 is thereby prevented when the compressor motor 14 stops without stopping operation of the fan motor 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
