The conversion of a concrete /cement mixer into a multi-drum rotary screener and discharges the screened material via chutes into separate receptacles or piles. The screener has three drums of varying diameter which allows the drums to be stored inside each other. The smaller of the drums AA is attached to the concrete/cement mixer drive shaft C, and the middle sized drum BB is detachable attached to mounting brackets (2, fig 2) at the front of the smaller drum and the largest of the drums CC is attached to mounting brackets (2, fig 3) on the front of the middle drum BB. Each drum has a perforated metal plate (3, fig 2) forming the circumference of the drum and a solid back plate with an aperture (1, fig 2) to allow the discharge of material from one drum to another as the screener is rotated, until the oversized material is ejected from the screener. The apertures are positioned to allow the material to be screened thoroughly before the material enters the other drums. The screened material may be directed into piles or containers by two chutes 6, 7 attached to the frame of the mixer. The drums are angled to allow the material to move through the drums via the apertures in the back of the drums as the drums are rotated. |
