A method for searching information capable of providing desired information searching result by grasping intention of user and a system thereof are provided to improve information searching result by removing abuse. A method for searching information capable of providing desired information searching result comprises the following steps: a step for analyzing a type about a plurality of queries(S810); a step for classifying the queries according to an analyzed type(S820); a step for indexing information with a classified query(S830); and a step for searching information corresponding to a query inputted from a user with an indexed result(S840).
