<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic system capable of obtaining a blood flow velocity quantitatively without being affected by angle dependency without making a system so large in scale. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic system is provided with: an ultrasonic probe including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers for receiving an ultrasonic echo and outputting a plurality of received signals; a first movement information operating means for calculating first movement information about movement of a moving body in a ray direction in an object on the basis of the plurality of received signals; a signal operating means for calculating an azimuth direction component signal representing a component of the ultrasonic echo in an azimuth direction orthogonal to the ray direction; a second movement information operating means for calculating second movement information about movement of the moving body in the azimuth direction in the object on the basis of the azimuth direction component signal; and a two-dimensional velocity operating means for obtaining two-dimensional velocity information about the moving body moving in the object on the basis of the first and second movement information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
